WITH RISK AND UNCERTAINTY…!
As humans we are hardwired to check that our impulses are in accordance with society’s codes of behavior. This means our mind will convince us out of trying something that we think society may not agree with. This creates a massive imaginary wall that only actually exists inside the mind. We must instead accept the present reality AND ALSO recognize our massive potential. If your central organizing principle in life is FAITH, it means you can SHOW UP to the path of progress. Progress comes when we have unwavering belief in our own potential and duty to unite our reality with the field of the transcendent. Merging our altruistic nature with practical concentration and follow through is where we harness change, build competence and experience growth. This is where we can get out of our own way, and fully discover that we came to the planet to be in service.
W.H Auden wrote in his commonplace book “When enchanted we neither believe, nor doubt — we know. “
WHEN WE KNOW:
We can know a greater sense of self acceptance and presence.
We can know that others won’t “get you” all the time and that’s ok. We can know bravery. We can know strength.

Redirecting our attention towards a positive state is an important skill on the pathway to a more courageous life. This requires critical thinking, mindfulness, cognitive engagement and INSPIRATION. Because humans do not function from a rational place, we function from an emotional place. Comprehending our emotional state is the prerequisite to behavior change.
Jacob Greenburg says “I choose to reframe the context of “coping” –that word suggests dealing with struggle. Today I lean into risk and uncertainty with curiosity. There will always be things in life we are unsure about. Embracing uncertainty and risk with power and curiosity leads to better outcomes.”

JENNIE MIREMADI
I’m Jennie, a licensed functional medicine nutritionist. Most people are surprised to learn that I wasn’t always a nutritionist. I actually began my career as an intellectual property attorney, and it was my own personal journey with food that inspired me to go back to school and get my Master’s degree in nutrition and integrative health so that I could help others navigate their own health, nutrition and wellness journeys.
After years of struggling and eventually finding wellness in my own life, I realized that looking at food in isolation from our biochemistry, physiology, spirit, psyche and emotions just doesn’t work. So, I undertook to combine all of these elements in a single approach. The result is a 5-factor methodology that I’ve used to help clients who’ve felt hopeless, lost and confused around food, health, nutrition and their bodies — so that they can find hope, feel empowered and get results that they never thought possible. My methodology looks at your whole person and is completely customized to provide support in the areas where you’re out of balance so that it’s possible for you to create lasting change and complete wellness.
